Welcome to The Ysgethin Inn

Tucked in a peaceful corner of rural Wales on the banks of the Ysgethin river, the Ysgethin Inn over the years has built a great reputation for fine beers and excellent food. We are a real ale house and have at least 4 guest beers on tap at all times during the summer season.

Steeped in history, the Inn was once a Fulling Mill and the Pelton wheel which powered the mill still remains. Located in a haven for ramblers and minutes from miles of beautiful golden sands.

A relaxing country Inn for both couples and families to enjoy the opportunity of dining overlooking the river, choose from a selection of fine ales whilst the children run wild in the play area!

Our Beautiful Setting

The Ysgethin enjoys a beautiful rural setting situated on the banks of the river Ysgethin and within walking distance of unspoilt countryside in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park.

Talybont is a small village located centrally between Barmouth and Harlech and is a mere 10 minute journey by car from either location.
